I remember to love animals since I was a boy. I dreamed becoming an explorer, travelling in the middle of the jungle and having contact with the most wild and amazing animals of the world. I spent my time watching films or tv programs about animals and their life in the nature. Also I used to read magazines, most of them from National Geographic.  In this time I was impressed with bears and wolfs, and I learned about some species of bears. My favourite was Grizzly or “Brown Bear”, one of the biggest bears in the world. They can measure two meters and more, and weigh more than three hundred kilograms. They live in North America, in the woods of Canada, United States and Alaska. They feed on salmon, using their claws to capture the fish in the river. In USA a big number of them are killed by hunters but in Canada and Alaska there are near 30.000 bears living freely. A picture of bears catching salmons! Other species of bears are North American Black Bear, Polar Bear, ...

Today I´ll talk about movies. I love watching movies, it´s one of my favorite hobby. This pleasure of watching movies started since I was a kid. Movies like "El viaje de Chihiro" and others of Studio Ghibli, caught my attention. Then when I was older, my mom recommended me some famous cult films, and I got fascination, so I began to search and investigate about cinema. When I was in high school I used to spend a lot of my free time downloading and watching films. I think in my last three years of school I watched the best and the most films, like Taxi Driver, Pulp Fiction, The Fight Club, Akira, The shining, Psycho, One Flew Over the Cuckoo´s Nest, Snatch, Requiem for a dream, Wild at Heart, Trainspotting and many more. Nowadays with less time, I have searched other genres and movies, like surreal films, and some anime of science fiction and psychological terror, even gore. Ones of my highlights that I last watched are Ghost in the Shell, Memories, The yellow sea and Lost ...

Hi everyone! It's too soon today to know what I would like to work in the future, because I´m in the first year of Geography and there is a lot of knowledge and many geography branches necessary to know. But I would like some things in my future job. First I want to work outdoors, can be half time in an office and half time outside. I want to work in the nature, travelling a lot and visiting extreme landscapes. I prefer working afar from Santiago, in a quiet and pleasant city, maybe in the coast. Also I would like to work abroad for 2 or 3 years, to have a better work experience and improve my english. At the beginning I imagine working in a government institution or in a investigation project but in my future I wish to work in my own office, formed by one of my best friends who studies anthropology and me. About the salary, if I want to work in my own office as an independent, I only want to earn enough money to live fine and sometimes give myself some pleasures.

Hello, today I´ll talk about my best holidays. The 14th January I started with my girlfriend a long trip backpacking to the south of Chile. We started visiting an uncle that lives in Lago Ranco, region of "Los ríos". It was the best beginning, because we had a lot of food to eat, two big beds, our own bathroom and others conveniences that then we would miss. Our travel continues with a short visit to Puerto Varas to fly the next morning to Balmaceda, a little location that works like the airport near Coyhaique. From this point of our travel starts the adventure in the   amazing, wild and entertaining   Region of Aysen jajaja through the famous Asutral Highway.   It was one month travelling, walking long distances, moving the thumb for some driver take us, waking-up at 4 AM to take the only bus that leave the town at 5 to continue going further south, but really it was my best holidays and one of my best experiences that I had done. Hello, this is my first blogg! If I had to decide where country I would like to visit, there will be a lot of options. Thinking in my means and the way I like to travel, I would like to visit Bolivia. Really I want to visit the north of Chile, Perú, Bolivia and Ecuador in a only travel backpacking with my girldfriend or two friends. Of all those countrys I think Bolivia is the most interesting, because of his immense culture, his low-cost prices to live and travel, his amazing landscapes. It would be a visit, I don´t want to live or study there, but I think it might help me in my future studies if I choose cultural geography like my professional field. I know about some places that I want to visit, like the "Salr de Uyuni", Sucre, "Isla del Sol" and Tiahuanaco (a city in ruins of an old civilization). The main reason to travel to Bolivia is know better South America, the palce where we come. Here some pictures of places that I would like to visit!
